Ahlul Bayt News Agency ; Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak is to discuss with German Chancellor Angela Merkel on the present difficulties of the Middle East peace talks when they meet in Berlin on Wednesday.
Mubarak and Merkel have reportedly pressed the Zionist regime to extend a moratorium on the construction of Jewish settlements on occupied Palestinian land which is due to expire on September 26.
Both leaders are concerned that a lifting of the moratorium could seriously endanger the fragile Middle East peace negotiations between Israelis and Palestinians.
Mubarak's last visit to the German capital dates back to March.
